Biography of John Yentzer

JOHN YENTZER, farmer, P. 0. Roulette, son of Henry and Mary Yentzer, was born in France in 1827, in the province of Alsace, now belonging to Germany, and with his parents came to America in 1834, locating in Roulette, where he was reared and educated. In 1852 he bought the farm he now owns, and began life as a farmer and lumberman, which is still his business. He was married in 1859 to Hannah Baker, and they have five children: Arthur, David, Myron, Melvina and Sophronia. Mr. and Mrs. Yentzer are members of the Free Will Baptist Church. In politics he is a Democrat, and has held various official positions in his township, which he has filled to the entire satisfaction of his constituents.
