Biography of Washington L. Warner
Potter County, PA Biographies

WASHINGTON L. WARNER, farmer, P. 0. White's Corners, was born in Harrison township, Potter Co., Penn., February 14, 1837, a son of William H. and Polly (Gill) Warner, formerly of Preble, Cortland Co., N. Y., who settled in Harrison township in 1825, locating on the farm now owned and occupied by W. L. Warner, most of which they cleared and improved, and resided on until their death. They had three children: John H., Wellesly W. and Washington L., the last of whom was born and reared on the old homestead where he has always resided. In 1857 he married Sarah M., daughter of Frederick and Nancy (Latta) Coston, of Harrison township, and they had two children, Francis M. (deceased) and Lelia N. Mr. Warner is a prominent and representative farmer of Harrison township, and one of the leading and public spirited citizens. Politically he has always been a Democrat.
