Biography of Dr. Earl F. Hartley

Dr. Earl F. Hartley is a well known young dentist of Johnstown, with offices at 213 Market Street. He was born at Fairmont, W. Va., April 24, 1894, and is a son of John W. and Anna (Vincent) Hartley, residents of Fairmont, W. Va., where Mr. Hartley is engaged in the real estate business.

Earl F. Hartley was educated in the public schools and was graduated from the Fairmont High School in 1913. He entered the Dental School of the University of Pittsburgh and received his degree of Doctor of Dentistry in 1918. While at college he was a member of the Student Army Training Corps and after his graduation was sent to Fort Ogiethorpe, Ga., where he was stationed until the close of the war.

On Jan. 1, 1918, Doctor Hartley was married to Miss Pauline Talkington, a daughter of Russell and Alma (Garrett) Talkington, of Fairmont, W. Va.

In politics Doctor Hartley is identified with the Republican party. He is a member of the First Christian Church and belongs to the Psi Omega, the American Legion and the Kiwanis Club. He lives at 214 Haynes Street.
