SUSAN COOLIDGE, who was also known as Sarah Chauncey Woolsey, was a Cleveland woman, who earned distinction
in the field of literature. Her best work was done in juvenile writing. Some of her books known to the children
of comparatively recent times were: "What Katy Did," "Eye Bright," "Cross Patch,"
"A Round Dozen," "Just Sixteen."
Susan Coolidge died in 1905.
