HORACE E. ANDREWS, who died December 1, 1918, was born in 1863, son of Samuel Andrews, at one time a partner of John. D. Rockefeller, in the form of Rockefeller & Andrews. Horace E. Andrews was educated at Yale University, and made his home in Cleveland and in later years New York. He was best known as a railway official, being president of the New York State railways, the Mohawk Valley Company, the Rochester Railway & Light Company, director of the New York Central Railway, the Michigan Central Railway, West Shore Railway, Schenectady Railway Company, Havana Railway, Light & Power Company.
