Andrew H. Rininger who successfully operates a general merchandise store at Dungannon, Ohio, is among the well
known business men of Columbiana County. He was born April 7, 1883, at Canal Fulton, Stark County, Ohio, and is
a son of Solomon A. and Roseanah (Kinsley) Rininger. Both Mr. and Mrs. Rininger were early settlers of Stark County
and are both now deceased. They are buried at Greensburg, Ohio.
Andrew H. Rininger received his education in the public schools of Comet, Summit County, Ohio. For 18 years he
was in the employ of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company at Akron, Ohio. On Oct. 25, 1923, Mr. Rininger came
to Dungannon where he bought his present business. This is one of the up to date stores of its kind in this section
and Mr. Rininger has a well established business.
On Oct. 14, 1905, Mr. Rininger was united in marriage with Miss Elizeida S. Keck, of McDonaldsville, Stark County,
Ohio, a daughter of J. F. and Christiana (Sells) Keck. Mr. Keck lives in McDonaldsville and his wife died on Aug.
8, 1915. To Mr. and Mrs. Rininger six children have been born as follows: Chloma La Verne; Glen Wallace; Thora
Elzaida ; Dawn Junita ; Duane Andrew; and Lorna Eileen.
In politics Mr. Rininger is independent. He is a member of the Reform Church, the Modern Woodmen of America and
the Farmers Grange. He is a public spirited and progressive man and has many friends in his community.
