George B. McCormick is a representative young business man of Lisbon, where he is local agent for the Chrysler
automobile. He is a native of Wayne Township, Columbiana County, born Jan. 13, 1901, and the son of D. S. and Nannie
May (Williams) McCormick.
Both D. S. McCormick and his wife are natives of Columbiana County and residents of Lisbon, where he is connected
with the local post office as a rural mail carrier.
George B. McCormick received his education in the Lisbon schools and for several years was employed by the Mullins
Body Corporation. He spent a year in the employ of the Peerless Automobile Company at Detroit, Mich., was identified
with the Barnes Motor Company, Cleveland, for two years, after which he returned to Lisbon, and engaged in the
battery business here. He has been agent for the Chrysler automobile since 1923 and has a fine salesroom and service
station on the Lincoln Way, known as the Chrysler Sales & Service Company.
On Sept. 4, 1924, Mr. McCormick was united in marriage with Miss Ruth Patterson, the daughter of David M. and Mary
Patterson, of Lisbon.
Mr. McCormick holds membership in the United Presbyterian Church and the Knights of Pythias. He is among the reliable
business men of Lisbon and is well known.
