Paul Haubert. Ranking among the capable business men of Lisbon is Paul Haubert, who is successfully engaged in the automobile, real estate, and insurance business there. He was born in Stark County, Ohio, Sept. 18, 1874, and is the son of John and Elizabeth (Heinz) Haubert, both deceased.

Paul Haubert attended the schools of Stark County, was interested in coal mining for a number of years as a mine superintendent, and in January, 1923, established his present automobile business in partnership with Orin Heinz and Carl Fife. They have an up to date and attractive salesroom and are the local dealers for the Nash and Ajax automobiles, as well as the Nash trucks. April, 1924, Mr. Haubert became engaged in partnership with G. C. Rauch, in the real estate and general insurance business.

Mr. Haubert was married Oct. 15, 1900, to Miss Verna Wallace, the daughter of James and Mary (Moore) Wallace, of Carroll County, Ohio. They have a daughter, Leona, who is the wife of Carl Fife, of Lisbon.

Mr. Haubert and his family are identified with the Reform Church and he belongs to the Knights of Pythias and The Grange. He has been successful and is one of Lisbon's efficient citizens.
