Biography of Donald W. Hasbrough

Donald W. Hasbrouch is well and favorably known in Leetonia, where he is successfully engaged in the drug business. He was born at Corry, Pa., July 30, 1894, and is the son of C. C. and Mary (Scully) Hasbrouch.

C. C. Hasbrouch, one of Lisbon's substantial business men, is a native of Corry, Pa. In 1899 he removed with his family to Lisbon, where he is now engaged in the automobile business as agent for the Hudson and Essex automobiles.

D. W. Hasbrouch received his education in the public and high schools of Lisbon and was graduated from the School of Pharmacy, Western Reserve University, Cleveland, in 1920. He has since engaged in the drug business at Leetonia, and in October, 1921, purchased his present place of business from Fred Weidmyer, pioneer druggist of Cohimbiana County. The store is located at 236 Main Street and is among the attractive business places of the city.

On Jan. 1, 1916, Mr. Hasbrouch was united in marriage with Miss Gladys Sanor, of Lisbon, the daughter of H. V. and Jessie Sanor. They have three children: Billy, born Oct. 7, 1917; Jessie Mae, born Aug. 11, 1920; and Donald, born May 27, 1922.

Mr. Hasbrouch is a Republican, a member of the Elks Lodge, Kiwanis Club, and Business Men's Club of Leetonia. He is enterprising and progressive and is making a success of his business.
