HENRY C. BRECKENRIDGE, of Huron county, was born April 14, 1832, at Charlotte, Vermont, and removed to Huron
county, Ohio, when but four years of age. He received the greater part of his education in the common schools.
He also attended school at Delaware, Ohio. He was engaged in teaching for about five years, after which he turned
his attention to mercantile business. He was married in 1856, to Miss M. J. Seymour.
He was elected to the House in 1871, by the Republican votes, being a Republican in politics.
He is a member of the Standing Committees on Insurance, on Common Schools and School Lands, and on Temperance.
Mr. Breckenridge is a man well worthy of the confidence of his people.
