Kinyoun, Benjamin, son of Elisha and Charlotte (Knickerbocker) Kinyoun, was born February to, 1822, in Pine
Plains, Dutchess County, N. Y. He came to this town in 1843, and settled on Bluff Point, where he has been a successful
farmer and fruit grower. He owns 210 acres of highly cultivated land. In politics he is a Republican. He married
Lucy H., daughter of John and Lucy (Stanley) Mangas, who was born in Lenawee County, Michigan, July 28, 1830. Their
children were Charles B., Mary E., who died aged twenty four; Eugene E., Homer L., Eva, who died aged four; Leroy
M., Edward F., and John Dorsey.
