Zeluff, Charles E., was born in Wolcott September 16, 1841. His father, Benjamin, was a native of Trenton, N.
J., settled in Red Creek in 1838, and died in 1885, aged seventy three years. Charles E. was educated in the common
schools, after which he followed boating several years. In 1875 he established his present business, and is one
of the largest dealers in fresh and salt meats in Wayne county. At the age of twentynine he married Mary E., daughter
of Jonas Van Slyck, of Clyde, and they have one son, Czar E. Our subject is identified in advancing the best interests
of his town.
