Van Dyke, Mrs. Ralph, nee Polly Risley, is the widow of Ralph Van Dyke, who died here June 25, 1876. Ralph Van
Dyke was a worthy pensioner of the war of the Rebellion. He enlisted in 1863 in Company B, 50th N. Y. S. Engineers,
and served as corporal until the close of hostilities. Polly Van Dyke is the mother of seven children: Ellen, Cornelia,
Irene, George, Isadore, William and Juliet. George is an engineer and boatman, unmarried, residing with his mother.
