Scott, Irving son of Lewis and Evelyn (Brooks) Scott, was born at Cato, Cayuga county, June 25, 1841. Lewis
Scott died in 1887 at the age of seventy seven, and his wife in 1894, aged eighty seven years. Irving has been
a resident of Wolcott fifty years, and has spent most of that period at home. He was a soldier of Company G, in
the 9th Heavy Artillery. His wife was Fanny Scott, of Clay, Onondaga county, daughter of William and Ellen Scott,
whom he married November 25, 1886. They have one child Ella, wife of George L. Baker of Oswego. Mr. Scott and wife
are members of the M. E. church.
