Hillimire, Anson, a native of Germany, was born in 1824, and came to America in 1849, locating at East Palmyra.
In 1852 he married Celestia Cole, and a few years afterward purchased 107 acres of land, where he now resides.
He makes a specialty of growing and distilling peppermint. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Hillimire are: David, deceased;
Edwin, Kittie, deceased, and Frederick.
