Cullen, Thomas, was born in Ireland in 1832, and came to Galen when about twenty one years of age. He owned
several farms in Rose, and finally settled on the farm where the family now reside in 1870, where he died in 1884.
He married in Galen Mary Dunn a native of Ireland, by whom he has eight children, of whom four are living: Thomas,
born in 1867, educated in the common schools and follows farming; William, born February 28, 1869, educated in
the common schools and Rochester Business College. He is a farmer and resides at home; John, born July 3, 1871,
educated in the common schools and resides at home. The family owns 100 acres, and follows general farming.
