Titus, C. A., was born in Ovid, Seneca county, May 6, 1856; was educated in the district schools, and finished under Professor Williams at the old Ithaca Academy. Be then gave his attention to farming, moving into the town of Ithaca in 1877, and in 1884 he bought the Daniel A. Wood place, which comprises 244 acres, lying about a miles west of the city of Ithaca. This is chiefly a dairy farm, and produces about 300 quarts of milk per day. Mr. Titus is a Republican in his politics, and takes general and intelligent interest in educational and religious matters.
