In this year he married Louisa Tripp, daughter of Daniel A. Tripp, of Harford, Cortland county, and moved to his present farm in the town of Caroline. They have three children: Charles E., Annie L. and Edith L. In politics Mr. Thomas is a Republican, though he has never aspired to public office.
