Quick, Mary J., was born in Livingston county, N. Y., March 5, 1837. Her husband, Frederick, left his home twenty
five years ago, and is supposed to be dead. Mrs. Quick is the daughter of Jonathan Haynes, she being the third
child of a family of eight children. With the assistance of her son she has carried on the farm since her husband
left home, and they have a small dairy connected with the place. Edith M., daughter of Mrs. Quick died at the age
of twenty six years. Mrs. Quick is a devout member of the M. E. church.
