House, Willard E., was born in the town of Spencer, Tioga county, N. Y. He was educated in the common schools
and the old Ithaca Academy, and followed teaching for a short time. At the age of twenty he began the study of
dentistry with Dr. David Hines, of Spencer. In 1879 he established an office in Candor, Tioga county, conducting
a very successful practice for twelve years. He removed to Ithaca in. 1891 where he has since been located. Dr.
House is a member of the Masonic fraternity and is a Republican in politics. He was married in 1876 to Alice M.
Chandler, of Trumansburgh; they have one child, Fredd Chandler House, a student of Ithaca High School.
