Biography of Charles C. Cole

Cole, Charles, was born in the town of Dryden August 20, 1843. His father, Joseph J. Cole, caine to the town in 1835 and settled on lot 67, which has remained in the possession of the family up to the present time. Charles received his education in the common schools and is preeminently a self made man. At the age of thirty he married Nancy A. Simons, daughter of Adam Sirnons, of Dryden, and they have one daughter, Anna. In 1892 Mr. Cole bought the J. E. Hiles property on lot 59, comprising fifty acres.
