Biography of Charles A. Clark

Clark, Charles A., youngest son of Joseph Clark, was born in Raymoudsville, June 28, 1848. He was educated at the Lawrenceville Academy, Eastman's Business College, etc. In 1874 he built the Raymondsville Butter Factory, it being the first one built in Norfolk, Mr. Clark has since been engaged in the manufacture of butter, of which he makes 115,000 pounds yearly. He has three branch factories, two in Lou isville and one in Norfolk. Mr. Clark married, October 26, 1871, Josephine Stearns of Chase's Mills, N. Y., and they have had four children: Joseph S., Rizpah F., Charlotte A., and Charles A. Mr. Clark is a Republican and is now serving his third term as justice of the peace. He and his wife are members of the Congregational church of Raymondsville.
