Grant, Miss Diana S.-Diana S. Grant's father, the late James Grant, was born in Forforshire, Scotland, in 1800, educated in their schools and was a stone cutter by trade. He married Ann Knight of his native county and they had five children: William (died young). Isabell, James, David and Diana S. Mr. Grant died in 1872 and his wife in 18.56. Isabell married William Roberts of her native place and they came to the United States in 1870. They had five children: Annie S., William, Elizabeth, James G. and Diana B. Mr. Roberts died in 1872; Mrs. Robert conducts a grocery store. Annie S. married Thomas Robinson of Waterford, and they have three children: Isabell G., William R. and Hazel. Miss Diana S. Grant came to the United States in 1871. She was forewoman in the Hudson Knitting Mills eight years and in the Waterford Knitting Mills six years.
