Deyoe, Albert, was born on the farm where he now resides, December 1, 1851, a son of Lorenzo and Nancy (Brower)
Deyoe. Lorenzo came from Dutchess county with his parents and settled in the town of Wilton, near Wheeler's Pond.
Lorenzo was son of Jacob, who settled in this country in 1826, and who had seven children: Lorenzo, Harvey, Jacob,
Peter, Hannah, Esther, Polly, all born in Dutchess county. Albert Deyoe was educated in the district school of
the town of Stillwater, attending school in the winter and assisting his father on the farm summers. After his
father's death he purchased the homestead and has since added to it until now he has 131 acres. He married Alice,
daughter of Hugh and Maria (Mcintosh) Holmes, and they have one son, Alvie. Mr: Deyoe has been active in town and
county affairs and in educational interests.
