Greenman, Charles Edgar, M. D., was born in Manchester, Mich.; September 29, 1867. His father, Lorenzo Greenman,
was born in Waterloo, N. Y., and when young came to Troy and learned the mason's trade, later moved to Michigan
and enlisted in the Third Michigan Cavalry and in 1870 came to Cohoes where he died in 1880. His mother, Ellen
(Magary) Greenman, was born in Montreal, P. Q., and is at present living in Troy. Dr. Greenman received his education
in the public schools and graduated from the Albany Medical College March 21, 1889, and has since been in practice
at 179 First street, Troy, N. Y. He is assistant physician of the outpatient department of the Troy Hospital and
is examining physician for the Union Central Life Insurance Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio, and belongs to the New York
State Medical Association, Rensselaer County Medical Society and the Medical Association of Troy and Vicinity.
He also belongs to King Solomon's Lodge F. & A. M. June 3, 1891, he married Margaret Frances Mitchell of Waterford,
N. Y. They became the parents of one son, Harold, who died January 20, 1896.
