Gravatt, Edwin J., M.D., was born in Clarksburgh, N. J., January 30, 1870. He is the son of Henry C. and Ann
Amelia (Mount) Gravatt, of Clarksburgh. His father is a civil engineer. Dr. Gravatt came to Troy when a boy twelve
years of age and was educated at the public and high schools, and was graduated from the University of the City
of New York in 1891. Re has been in practice in Troy since. He is a member of the Medical Association of Troy and
Vicinity and the New York State Medical Association. He is medical examiner for the Metropolitan. Life Insurance
Company. October 21, 1895, he married Margaret Jackson of Troy.
