Biography of Dr. Thomas G. Dickson

Dickson, Thomas G., M.D., was born in Troy, N. Y., October 2, 1868. His father, Thomas Dickson, was a member of the Legislature in 1887 and 1888, and was county treasurer from 1889 to 1891. His mother was Sarah (Purdy) Dickson. Thomas G. attended the public and high schools of Troy and entered the University of Pennsylvania in 1888 and was graduated from that institution May 1, 1891. After associating with Dr. Harvie in practice for a short time he opened an office on Fifth avenue for the practice of medicine, where he is at present located. He is assistant surgeon at the Troy Hospital; a member of the State Medical Association, the Rensselaer County Medical Society and secretary of the Medical Association of Troy and Vicinity.
