Wilber, Albert, son of Samuel and Louisa (Huggins) Wilber, was born in Granby in 1851. Samuel Wilber was one
of the earliest settlers here. He was born in Dutchess county, and died here in 1874 aged sixty two, leaving three
daughters and two sons, Willard, the younger brother, being a resident of Hannibal. September 18, 1870, Albert
married Nettie, daughter of James J. Fort of Bowen's Corners. Their oldest daughter, Linnie, is the wife of Bert
Ware of Oswego Falls, the four younger children being Belle, Arlon, Leah and Fred.
