Nash, Joseph R., was born in Germany in 1831, and is a son of Enoch, grandson of Anthony, and great grandson
of Peter Nash. He came to America in 1851 and to Williamstown in 1861, where he is a farmer. Mr. Nash enlisted
in 1864 in Co. E. 189th infantry, serving until the close of the war, when he returned to the farm. His three sons
are William M., Frank J. and John L.
