Eric C. Croucher, D. D. S. - Prominent among the successful young professional men of Oswego is Doctor Croucher,
who has offices at 59 West Bridge Street. He was born in England, Oct. 20, 1906, the son of Ernest C. and Mary
Ann (Sinden) Croucher.
Ernest C. Croucher and his wife are natives of England and have lived in Oswego since 1909. He was a school teacher
in early life and later conducted a baking business. Since his arrival in Oswego Mr. Croucher has been identified
with the A. C. Hall Baking Company. He is a Republican, a member of the Methodist Church, and belongs to the Masonic
Lodge. The only child born to Mr. and Mrs. Croucher is Eric C., the subject of this sketch.
After his graduation from Oswego High School, Eric C. Croucher entered the Dental College of the University of
Pennsylvania, from which he was graduated in 1929. He immediately returned to this city to engage in practice.
Doctor Croucher is a member of the New York State Dental Society and American Dental Association.
Doctor Croucher was married on June 17, 1931, to Miss Helen Bookmyer, of Lansdowne, near Philadelphia. She is the
daughter of Rev. E. H. Bookmyer.
Doctor Croucher is a Republican, a member of the Methodist Church, and belongs to the Rotary Club and Psi Omega
Doctor and Mrs. Croucher live at 103 West 6th Street, and are popular members of the city's younger circle.
