Coville, Nathan Wallace, was born in Hastings October 11, 1849, son of Nelson Coyille of Onondaga county, who
came to Hastings about 1840. His wife was Annis Sabins, and their children were Luther, Francis, Edgar. Frank,
Oscar, Myron, Hiram, Celestia, George and Nathan W. At the age of seventeen Nathan W. went to Bay City, Mich.,
where he worked at the cooper's trade seven years. From 1880 to 1,888 he resided in Onondaga county, since which
time he has lived in Hastings on a farm. In 1870 he married Mary, daughter of Lyman and Phoebe (Rowland) Morgan,
born in Clay, Onondaga county. Her grandfather was Rey. Abram Morgan, who built the Morgan church in Clay and was
the pioneer there in 1800. He was a son of the Morgan of Revolutionary fame.
