Bennett, E. F., was born in Jerusalem, Yates county, October 14, 1853, a son of R. S. and Sara Bennett. He was
educated in Parish (where his parents settled in the early days of the town) and in Weedsport Academy. When he
left school he went to work on his father's farm, of which he is now the owner; contains one hundred acres mostly
under collection. Mr. Bennett was deputy sheriff one term; he is a man of literary tastes, and has the largest
library in the town.
