Storaker, Samuel, was born in Halifax, Yorkshire, England, in 1849. He came to America in 1868, and after a
short residence at Rondont, N. Y., came to Medina and for six years was engaged in quarries there. He then came
to Albion and for several years was in the same business there. In 1884 he purchased a tract of land about a mile
east of Hulberton on the north side of the canal, and opened a stone quarry. In 1885 William Sullivan became a
partner, and they have since continued the business.
