Savage, George H., son of William H., was born in Madison county in October, 1859. He learned the stonecutter's
trade. In 1882 he came from Onondaga county and settled in Rolley, and engaged in the marble and granite business,
making a specialty of fine monumental work. He uses steam power and employs several men. Mr. Savage is a member
of the Baptist Church of Holley.
