Rodwell, George, was born in Cambridgeshire, England, in 1837, and came to the United States in 1856, settling
in Riga, Monroe county, where he followed farming. In 1878 he moved to Clarendon, and bought a farm east of Bennett's
Corners. He married Elizabeth M., daughter of George and Rachel (Heffer) Bridgeman, of Greece, Monroe county, and
their children were: Sarah, who married Willis H. Warren; Cora, who married Lewis D. Bartlett; James E., who married
Cora E. Cheney; George H., Edward A., and Jessie E. George Rodwell died 1893.
