Remde, William, was born in Germany, September 28, 1824, and came to America in 1852. He worked in a brewery
in Rochester for two years and came to Medina in 1854, where he followed his trade until 1869, when he embarked
in the brewery business for himself. He owns his own brewery and residence and makes 2,400 barrels of ale annually,
selling entirely at wholesale. In 1848 Mr. Remde married Louise Remde, and they have two daughters, Louise and
Lena. Mr. Remde has lived in Medina forty years, and has not only been a successful man, but his career has been
honorable.
