Kelley, John S., was born in Medina September 20, 1866. He worked in the Swett and also in the Bignall foundry
for several years, and spent some time at his trade in Buffalo. He was then engaged in making patterns for bean
pickers in Middleport for some time. April 1, 1893, he purchased the Medina Hotel, of which he is now the proprietor.
Mr. Kelley is a member of the A. O. H., and of the C. B. L. He is active in politics, and is a member of the County
Central Committee. He married Lizzie Mackey April 26, 1893. His father was Michael Kelley. and his mother Eliza
(Smithy Kelley.
