Gotts, G. W., was born in England January 1, 1834, and came to America in 1851. He started in the quarry business
with the Holloways November 15, 1851, has been their general agent since 1869, and for several years previous to
that was assistant foreman in the quarries. In 1857 Mr. Gotts married Annie E. Courtman, and they have three children:
Albert G., Julia M., and Innis Myra. Mr. Gotts is also largely interegted in farming, and owns three farms aggregating
263 acres.
