Wiehle, John, was born at Suspension Bridge, January 19, 1863, a son of George Wiehle (deceased.) He attended school in his native town, and when fifteen years of age began learning the carriage maker's trade, which he followed for six years. He then took up the carpenter's trade, at which he spent about eight years. In 1891 he established his present hotel and restaurant, where he has been very successful. In 1887 Mr. Wieble married Amelia Fisher of Canada, and they have had five children, two of whom survive. Mr. Wiehle is a member of the I. O. O. F., Niagara Falls Lodge No. 81.
