Boden, Edwin R., M. D., has practiced medicine in this county since 1881, and in the village of Oneida since
1885. He was born in Southfields, Orange county, N. Y., January 14, 1860, and obtained his education in Trinity
School, New York city, and at the Long Island College Hospital, from which institution he was graduated M. D.,
in the class of 1881. He began practice the same year in the village of Munnsville, this county, where he remained
four years. In the fall of 1885 he came to Oneida where he has since been in active practice. Dr. Boden is a Republican
in politics and has served as village auditor, health officer and village clerk. He is a member of Oneida Lodge,
No. 270, F. & A. M., and of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He married, in 1885, Lena L. Rockwell, daughter
of Francis F. Rockwell, of Oneida. Two children have been born of this union: John F., and Frank R. Boden.
