Smith, George W. B., M. D., physician and surgeon, was born in the town of Massena, St. Lawrence county, N. Y., August 30, 1857. He was educated in Ives Seminary, and in 1879 was graduated from Antwerp Seminary. He then spent one year in the literary department of Michigan University at Ann Arbor, after which he began the study of medicine, and in 1882 was graduated from the Hahnemanu Medical College of Chicago, receiving the degree of M. D. He then removed to Norwood and opened an office for the practice of his profession, and in March, 1890, removed to Watertown, where he has since been successfully engaged in the practice of his profession. Dr. Smith is a member of the Jefferson County Homeopathic Medical Society, and the Farrington Medical Club of the city.
