At the age of twentyseven he began the study of law in the office of Rogers & Atwell at Watertown, and continued with that firm until admitted to the bar in July, 1896. He then commenced the practice of his profession at No. 43 Savings Bank Building, Watertown, N. Y., where he is now located.
