Hubbard, Byron V., one of Watertown's leading boot and shoe dealers, was born in that city, May 21, 1855. He
acquired a good education from the public and high schools of his native city, after which he entered the grocery
and fruit store of his father where he remained until 1885, when he engaged in the gents' furnishing business on
his own account and in 1893 disposed of his stock and embarked in the boot and shoe business, which business he
has since conducted. Mr. Hubbard is a genial, public-spirited citizen and has a host of friends. He was married
in May, 1894, to Clara E. Brick of Watertown, and is a member of the Lincoln League.
