Frink, Daniel, is one of the earlier settlers of the city of Watertown and his business career has been closely
identified with the development of the city. He has watched the expansion of the city with the keen interest of
one who desires to contribute to the welfare of the community where he has spent a successful life. He was born
in the town of Brookfield, Madison county, N. Y., January 1, 1820. His education from schools was limited and confined
to the elementary grades. His early days were spent on a farm and his first business experience was in the lime
and coal business, in which he was successfully engaged until 1881, when he embarked in the undertaking business,
which business he has-since conducted. Mr. Frink was united in marriage, June 2, 1847, to Susan D. Burdick, having
celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary June 2, 1897. He has been prominent in a number of business enterprises
which have materially accelerated the growth of the city, and he bears the reputation of being one of the most
public-spirited of the citizens of Watertown.
