Faichney, George H., manufacturer of clinical thermometers, was born at Oxbow, Jefferson county, N. Y., December 21, 1869. He was educated in the public schools and at the Gouverneur Normal School. In 1888 he removed to Watertown and in company with Herbert Bodgett engaged in the manufacture of thermometers under the firm name of Faichuey & Bodgett, which continued for two years, when Mr. Faichney succeeded to the business and has since conducted it alone. Mr. Faichney employs from eight to ten skilled workmen in the manufacture of his instruments and the work turned out is of the highest order. He is a member of I. O. O. F. and the I. O. F.
