Cahill, Daniel W., business manager of the Arcade Drug Company, was born in Watertown, N Y., January 15, 1864.
He was educated in the public schools and in 1880 was graduated from the Watertown High School. At this time he
became associated with Mr. J. W. Knott in the drug business, in which he was engaged for about eighteen months,
when he entered the service of the Watertown Pharmaceutical Co. and after a short time with this company he resigned
to accept a position offered him with Drs. H. G. P. Spencer & Son, where he remained until 1884, and then entered
the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, from which he was graduated in 1886. In 1891 he became a member of the Arcade
Drug Co. of Watertown, which was incorporated under the laws of the State in 1892, with Mr. Cahill as its treasurer
and manager. Mr. Cahill is a member of the Lincoln League and has been a member of the executive committee since
its organization.
