Wolcott, Albert W., p. o. Le Roy, N. Y., was born in Oakfield, N. Y., May 8, 1847.
His father, William Wolcott, 'was a native of Oakfield and was a farmer. William Wolcott was supervisor of the
town for fifteen years and president of the board of trustees of Cary Seminary. He married Elmira Whitney, and
died in 1880. Albert W. Wolcott was educated in Cary Seminary and since leaving school has been a farmer. He served
as assessor for three years. He married Lillian G., daughter of Watson Benham; they have three children: Ruth L,
Alice A. and William A. Mr. Wolcott is a successful farmer. He is a good citizen and has always taken an active
interest in church and school matters.
