The farm known as the Sanford Wilber farm was first purchased and occupied by Amasa and Annis Wilber; they were
the parents of four sons and two daughters. The youngest son, Sanford Wilber, remained on the homestead until his
death in May, 1891; he left no children. Morris Cleveland Wilber was married at the age of twenty-one to Emma Churchill,
shortly after which they took up their residence with Sanford Wilber, who was his uncle; they had two sons - G.
Sanford and Earl D. Wilber. Mrs. Wilber died in 1881, and about a year later Morris C. was married to Myrta Adelle
Griffin, who bore him one daughter, Grace Adelle Wilber. Mr. Wilber died June 9, 1898. He was a practical and successful
farmer, and a man of unquestioned integrity, respected by all who knew him.
