Seyffer, George U., p. o. Le Roy, N. Y., was born in Le Roy February 9, 1862.
His father, Gottlieb Seyffer, was a native of Germany, and came to Genesee county about 1848; he was a tinsmith.
He married Mary Metchler of Germany; they are the parents of Edward, Frederick and Carrie Seyffer Stevens. George
G. Seyffer was educated in the common schools and for eight years was connected with N. B. Keeney & Son's commission
house. April 1, 1884, he engaged with the Erie Railroad and has been promoted to station agent. He has been secretary
of Oatka Hose Company for ten years. Mr. Seyffer is a thorough business man, of untarnished reputation, and performs
a citizen's duty in forwarding the welfare of his town.
