Biography of George B. Webster

Webster, George B., Buffalo, was born in that city, March 8, 1859, and was educated in the public and private schools of Buffalo. After leaving school he entered the office of the Buffalo. New York & Philadelphia Railroad, acting as general agent for four years. At the end of this time he began the study of law in the office of Bowen, Rogers & Locke, finishing his studies, however, in the office of Bass, Cleveland & Bissell. In 1894 he formed a partnership with Mr. Hodson, under the firm name of Hodson & Webster, which partnership still continues. Mr. Webster was married in June, 1883, to Agnes J. Ovens.
